I am working on a nice denim expo called ‘Blue Archives’ which is part of the Dutch fashion fair Modefabriek this upcoming weekend in Amsterdam. The expo contains some amazing pieces from the Swiss Jeansmuseum which is owned by fading expert Ruedi Karrer. Ruedi is collecting more than 35 years the best worn-out and rare denim items. His collection is really huge, more than 12.000 pieces. It goes from the early fifties till now, so an amazing variety of brands, fabrics and worn items. The ‘Blue Archives’ expo is a selection of his best pieces and for the first time they will be shown in Holland. Ruedi will be there as well and is always in for a good denim chat. So all denimheads go to Amsterdam this upcoming Sunday and Monday to see these rare treasures. It’s situated in the Blueprint hall where all the better denim brands are showing their new Spring Summer 2014 collection. Below some teaser pics to get you in the mood. See you there!
