This season Lee Jeans developed with their Lee 101 collection a new version of their classic Rider jacket. This Lee Jeans style was originally introduced in 1931 as a jacket for cowboys. The new Lee 101 Rider jacket is made of 11.5oz light grey Japanese lefthand selvage twill fabric. The selvage is constructed in the cuffs of the jacket. The fabric is woven on old shuttle looms from the ’20’s. The threads of the fabric are dipped in natural indigo, 16 dips, which gives the fabric a beautiful ’70’s look and feel. This fabric has a nice fading potential! The jacket is available at the online store Cultizm.
