Last week Seven Senses organised an event called: ‘Blue Hands Never Lie’ in the Gustafon builiding on the Westergas in Amsterdam – NL. They organised the event for the launch of their new collection. Exactly one year ago Seven Senses made their entrance as a new denim fabric mill. Their fabrics are heaven for everyone with an eye for high-quality and sustainable made fabrics. Seven Senses are making fabrics which are handspun, handwoven and coloured by hand with natural indigo. This is the ultimate and it’s unique in the denim industry. Their set-up of their event was more like an expo, an inspiration and meeting point for likeminded people. People with an interest in durable fabrics with a luxurious feeling.
The new Seven Senses collection contains a diverse range of handmade fabrics, from light to heavy weight with light and dark colours. All the fabrics are made with a selvage lining which makes them more special. The fabrics are created on old wooden shuttle looms. On the event was also a part where they highlighted their collab partners as Mohsin Saijd from Endrime Jeans and bag brand Atelier de l’Armée to name a few. Both made some beautiful products which gave you the perfect reference how you can use the Seven Senses fabrics. It’s a pity if you have missed the event, but I’m sure you will hear more of them in the future. Keep an eye of this one, really nice!
