Three Different Menswear Fits

The No Excess denim collection is focused on three different menswear fits. Included in the collection are a slim, regular, and tapered fit. A diverse collection, perfect to cover all the denim needs of every man for this Spring and Summer.

As a celebration of this collection, No Excess made a campaign video themed ‘Denim at every moment’. In case you have missed the previous article about this video, read and watch it here.

The Different Fits In The Collection

All the three different No Excess denim styles are classic five-pocket jeans, but all differently designed. The 710 is a slim-fit family member with a mid-waist that fits perfectly around the lower and upper leg. It’s slim from the hip to the ankle. To make this pair of jeans extra comfortable, they developed a special stretchable waistband too.

The 711 is the brand’s take on an authentic regular fit. A must-have for everyone that wants to wear a pair of jeans that is timeless. This style has a regular thigh, straight legs, and a comfortable fixed mid waistband.

The last denim style in the No Excess collection is the 712. A tapered fit that gives you a bit more modern look without being too slim. It’s a mid-waist jeans and has a relaxed shape at the hip and upper leg. The thigh has a regular fit with slightly tapered lower legs while the waistband is comfort fixed.

The Special Features On The No Excess Jeans

The No Excess jeans are all made with stretch qualities so they’re very comfortable to wear for each occasion, whether you’re going to work, school, cafe, and hanging out with your friends and family in the park. They’re designed with special features that make them stand out, so let’s highlight a few of these special details.

All the jeans feature unique No Excess branding elements. The labeling, metal trims, and back patch are all freshly designed in a color theme that refers to authentic denim from the sixties and seventies. On the front of the jeans, there’re two different rivets, one is a classic branded rivet (like the common which are used for almost 150 years), while the right front pocket features a bold developed rivet version, with the brand logo.

They all feature a zipper closure, so you can fasten them easily, and there’s a branded top button too. The coin (or watch pocket) features a No Excess branding element and special tone-down dark blue stitching. Next to this pocket, they designed a sort of waistband yoke which gives the jeans extra character.

Maybe the most exciting and innovative feature of their jeans is their sixth pocket. This special Phonepocket is especially designed so you can carry easily your phone with you. A proof that the denim designs of No Excess are inspired by the past but made for today.

On the back of each jeans, the back pockets are made of two parts, which is a subtle link to the old workwear garments, and the middle belt loop is shaped in an ‘N’ of No Excess, so you can clearly see the brand while wearing it with a belt. The same goes for the back patch. The No Excess name is positioned low on the patch so you can still see the brand name while keeping your jeans up with a (leather) belt.

Special Features On No Excess’s 712 Models N1 And N2

The No Excess 712 models N1 and N2 have stitching details at the front pockets. They’re designed with extra stitching (and rivet), for an extra playful look. These models feature three different rivets, two of them are the same as the 710 and 711 styles, but they added an extra branded version too.

The back pockets are slightly oversized and more detailed with NXS branding. This is combined with special washings applied to the jeans to create a rich and extensive look.
