Amsterdenim Customized Denim Jacket By Steven Oprinsen For Charity

Denim brand Amsterdenim set-up for the third time a special auction to raise funds for the food bank in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For this charity auction, they worked together with artist Steven Oprinsen, so: ‘Denim vs Art’.

Celebration Auction

The auction is also to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Amsterdenim, and 744 years of Amsterdam (est Oct 26th, 1275). They asked Steven Oprinsen to create a special artwork with many references to the great vibrating city and what she stands for. This idea to work together came alive during the last edition of the Denim Days in Amsterdam.

Heritage Freddy Jacket

For the auction, they used the heritage denim jacket, Freddy, which is already part of their collection since 2014. The jacket is designed by the founder of the brand, Ben Fokkema. It’s made of a fine Italian organic denim fabric from Candiani. It features two inside pockets and their trademark diamond buttons. The size of this jacket is XXL, it can be worn or framed as a piece of art on your wall.

Follow the auction on eBay here it’s ending on the 6th of December, and so far there’re 32 bids with a total amount of € 255,-. Happy bidding!
