Exciting Collaboration Pants
Blue Blanket teamed up with photographer Cory Piehowicz (also known as Bandit) for a new exciting collaboration pair of pants. The pants is a follow-up on their earlier collaboration pants and overall that came out around 2014 and 2018. This new pants is now ready for pre-orders. (More about Cory Piehowicz here in ‘Meet the Collector’).
Inspired By The Original Miner And Outdoor Pants
The Blue Blanket x Bandit (Cory Piehowwicz) pants is inspired by the original miner and outdoor pants. It’s made with duck canvas which was dyed in cobalt blue. The outcome of the dye is a crisp bright color. The pants feature two front pockets which are placed on the front panel and reinforced with rivets and leather, a reference to vintage hunting gear. There’s also a tool pocket added on the side of the leg, while the back pocket are uniquely shaped.
The waistband is lined with brown canvas which features a printed collaboration label. The back patch is a branded ‘BB’ hair-on-hide leather patch. A reference to the Western cowboy period when they branded logos directly on the cow’s hide.
The fit of the pants is a standard fit with a not too high, and not too low rise. With wear, the duck canvas will age and will be more beautiful with time. The pants are made in Italy, like all the Blue Blanket styles.
