Benzak Launched First Selvedge Denim Jacket
Benzak just dropped their first denim jacket. The jacket is called BDJ-01 Cowboy Jacket special #2. The jacket is made of a special woven selvedge fabric by the Italian Candiani mill. It’s a 15oz right hand twill, 100% cotton. The sanforized fabric is called #2. The indigo colour represents a similar tone to jeans from the fifties and sixties. The selvedge colours are ‘Azurri’ (blue) and ‘Oranje’ (orange) and mark the friendship between the Italian and Dutch companies.
The Fit And Details
The fit of the jacket is a regular fit. It’s a mix between the old school Type 1 and Type 2 jackets. Inspired by the past but altered for the modern cowboy, the jacket is a bit longer than the classic boxy denim jacket fits. The jacket has two front pockets and pleats. The pleats are stitched with indigo dyed yarn, same as the bull embroidery on the pocket.
The new Benzak Cowboy Jacket is produced in Portugal, same as the rest of their Europe made collection. See more of the collection here.
