The 4th Special Denim Fabric
BENZAK just released their new special fabric as a follow-up on previous successful editions. It’s already their 4th special fabric in their collection, and this time they partnered up with the legendary Japanese Kurabo Denim mill. Together they created an 18.5oz heavy-weight fabric. A true champion to kick-off 2021!
Special #4 Heavy-Weight Fabric
The new BENZAK special 18.5oz heavy-weight fabric is the heaviest in their collection so far. It’s a deep indigo selvedge right-hand twill denim fabric with a light blue selvedge ID. The deep dye will keep the fabric dark where it doesn’t fade, resulting in higher contrast at the creases after wear.
This special 18.5oz fabric has high potential fades as it’s unwashed, but Sanforized (pre-shrunk). The construction is tight, giving it a longer break-in time, but will soften up with wear, so it will be very comfortable as it molds to your body.
The Special #4 Fabric Styles
The special #4 fabric is developed for BENZAK’s winning styles as their B-01 Slim, B-03 Tapered, and BDJ-01 Cowboy Jacket.
B-01 Slim and B-03
Both jeans fits are the brand’s popular styles with the slim fit with tapered legs, and the regular fit with tapered legs. They’re made with BENZAK’s typical special key features as a unique hidden 6th pocket, chain-stitched bottom hems, tucked belt loops, vegetable-tanned leather patch from Italy, cotton-poly core-spun heavy-duty stitching, 100% stainless steel buttons, 100% copper rivets, button fly, indigo dyed bull embroidery on the back, indigo dyed bartacks and buttonholes, ecru pocket bags (cotton-poly, for extra durability), and woven labels with 100% cotton base and polyester detailing.
BDJ-01 Cowboy Jacket
The BDJ-01 Cowboy Jacket refers to the authentic Type I and Type II denim jackets. They used details of both classics but gave it a modern twist like the longer body. It features a 6 stainless steel button pleated front placket, and two iconic BENZAK pockets on the front.
Next to that, the rivets are made of copper, the bartacks and buttonholes are indigo dyed, the pockets are reinforced with ecru pocketing for extra durability, and the indigo-dyed bull embroidery for authenticity is there as well.
Availability Of The Styles
All the new BENZAK’s special #4 heavy-weight fabric styles are made in Portugal. They’re now available at BENZAK’s webshop here, and via selected retail partners worldwide.
