BENZAK Produces Quality Made Goods
The Amsterdam-based denim brand BENZAK was founded by Lennaert Nijgh in 2013. For 10 years, they have produced the highest quality denim products possible in Japan and Portugal. All the timeless designs within the collection are focused on made-to-last, particularly produced with Japanese and Italian (denim) fabrics. Unique designs that can be worn for many years to come and can be framed in slow fashion. Better said, artisanal denim styles and quality goods that stand the test of time.

The Portuguese Production Facility
Recently, BENZAK traveled to Portugal to shine a light on the people behind the scenes. These craftspeople transform their ideas into premium crafted denim products. Their production facility is based in the North of Porto in Portugal. A place where they cut, sew, and finish everything by hand. This is to ensure that each item is crafted with the high standards of the brand.
Portugal is chosen by BENZAK as they deeply value sustainable design, and ensuring a low carbon footprint. Next to that, transparency is key for the brand. Therefore they filmed this mini documentary to share an insight into their production. And above all, they would proudly like to shine a light on the team at their production facility. This is key for BENZAK as they’re responsible for the outcome each time.
