Introduction of Blaumann Jeanshosen

In the year 2013 the first 100% Made in Germany Blaumann Jeanshosen brand was started. Blaumann Jeanshosen is born by a shared denim passion from friends Peter Bättig, Christian Hampel and Guido Wetzels. Together they form the Blaumann Jeanshosen team. They all have a long history in the textile industry from product specialist, buyer, marketing and sales, so a perfect combination to conquer the denim world. With their experiences in the denim industry they travelled a lot to production countries as Pakistan, China and India, so they know what’s happening and how to take care of a pair of jeans.

The concept behind Blaumann Jeanshosen

As there are so many great initiatives within the denim industry the team of Blaumann Jeanshosen was looking to do something different, something unique. During a funny brainstorm moment they came up with the crazy idea to produce a 100% Made in Germany pair of jeans. A totally insane idea as almost all the production facillities are disappeared in Germany, especially to create a well made pair of selvage jeans. So they started their journey and sorted all kind of things to reach their ultimate denim goal. Finally after 1.5 years of reseach, developing, testing and wearing their first Blaumann Jeanshosen proto-types they created the right pair of jeans. A 100% Made in Germany Blaumann Jeanshosen jeans was born. Even all the spare-parts as rivets, thread, buttons and patch are Made in Germany. They created Blaumann Jeanshosen to serve the true denimheads a high-quality made pair of selvage jeans that last a long time. With their brand they connect people in the denim industry and other likeminded people with an interest in durable, sustainable and honest produced clothing items. People who are living the denim lifestyle.

The Blaumann Jeanshosen collection

The Blaumann Jeanshosen collection contains classic styles which needed in every closet of every denimhead. The collection contains a authentic white t-shirt, which is always a perfect match with a pair of jeans, some western denim shirts made of 8oz Japanese Kuroki mill fabrics and a genuine brown leather belt.

The core of the Blaumann Jeanshosen collection are the jeans. The collection contains several fits as tapered and regular, both made in Japanese Kuroki mill selvage fabrics with different ounces as 12.5oz, 15oz and even a 22oz heavy beast. All the jeans are made from rigid fabrics, so they wearer has to create their own personal pattern by wearing the jeans day in, day out. The next future step of Blaumann Jeanshosen will be a jeans made of a selvage denim fabric which is woven in Germany as well. This to continue their ultimate Blaumann Jeanshosen dream.

In the next Blaumann Jeanshosen article we will go further into all the rich and unique details of their 15oz selvage pair of jeans and classic selvage denim shirt. Stay tuned for more Blaumann Jeanshosen.
