Blaumann Jeanshosen New Gerade Jeans
The Blaumann Jeanshosen denim brand from Germany released two new jeans styles. It is based on the brand’s never-out-of-stock fit called the Gerade. An original five-pocket straight fit.
After many requests from their fanbase, this straight-fit jeans style is now developed with a higher waist. This is the first change in measurements ever within the history of the Blaumann Jeanshosen brand.
The New Jeans Cut
Normally, the Blaumann Jeanshosen brand sticks to their original designs. But, as said, after many requests for many years, they changed the waist height of one of their cornerstones within the jeans range. Although the height of the Gerade jeans can’t be classified as old school high, it is slightly higher than most of the jeans.
The higher waist on the Gerade is perfect for the average longer guy. Also good to know, all the jeans of the brand (in all fits) come with an add-on in length. For wash shrinkage and to wear your jeans with a classic cuff, they add ca. 10 cm to the regular size. So, 32 is 34 inches after the first wash, and 34 is 36 inches after the first wash.
The Special Details
The Blaumann Jeanshosen Gerade jeans is developed with extra deep front pockets, and the back pockets are strengthened with hidden rivets. These pockets are also reinforced on the inside with pocket lining. The jeans itself is entirely stitched in two thread colors for ‘’extra depth’’. The inner pockets features graphic designs of the brand. And it comes with a branded leather patch.
The jeans is available in different denim fabric versions, the Gerade 222 and Gerade 010. The first version is made with a 13,5oz selvedge fabric woven in Turkey and shows an orange-white ID. The second one is made with a 15oz fabric, but woven in Japan by the Kuroki denim mill. It features the authentic redline selvedge ID. The selvedge fabric is also used on the coin/watch pocket, to make it extra special.
As always, the denim fabrics are unwashed, so you need to break it in yourself to create your personal wear pattern. Your pair will age nicely together with your lifestyle. In the end, each pair will be different and unique. Each pair will tell a different story.
Proudly Produced In Germany
Blaumann Jeanshosen continues their made-in-German approach with the release of these two new pairs of Gerade jeans. They’re cut and produced in Bavaria, Germany. All the ingredients as the buttons, rivets, and sewing thread are made in Germany as well. Even the pocket lining and labels are made in Germany, so the Gerade 222 and Gerade 010 are both 100% proudly made in Germany.
