Blue Highway Clothing B002 Pair Of Jeans
Douglas Luhanko started in 2006 together with his brother Hampus, and their friend Patrick, Blue Highway Clothing. They found their inspiration to start their denim brand after they searched, and collected vintage garments, and sewing machines. Their trip to Nevada looking for original miner pants in old abandoned ghost towns inspired them even more.
Now, after their last released pair of Blue Highway Clothing in 2008, Douglas launched together with Kerstin a new pair of jeans. While the last produced jeans were based on a 1940s pair, these new jeans have a different fit with links to the past, but also to the present. The fit of the new B002 jeans is a straight cut, with a higher waist. Modern jeans with authentic twists.
Clean & Timeless
On the jeans, they skipped all the unnecessary details, which gives the jeans a timeless, and clean look. So, no details without any function.
The Special Details Of The Jeans
First of all, the Blue Highway Clothing jeans is made in Sweden, the hometown of the couple where they also run their denim store Second Sunrise. The coin, or watch, pocket has a special BHC signature. All the copper rivets are hand-hammered in Sweden by themselves.
The fly of the jeans has classic buttons, and the top button is a brass button with the Blue Highway Clothing logo. On the fly buttons, they engraved the sun logo of their Second Sunrise store.
Japanese Selvedge Fabric
The fabric of the jeans comes from the Japanese Kaihara mill. It’s a 13,75oz redline selvedge fabric, unwashed.
The First Batch
The first batch of this pair of Blue Highway Clothing jeans is produced in 100 pairs only. Be fast to get your hands on a pair.
