By the end of 2017, the legendary American denim mill Cone Mills announced the closing of their White Oak plant. Read more about the closing here. After 112 years in business, they closed the oldest mill in America that made those unique selvage fabrics which were woven on authentic shuttle looms. Their announcement and closing is one of the saddest news within the denim industry since ages.

Homage To White Oak

Denim brand Brave Star pays homage to White Oak with their Cone Mills White Oak denim banner. This banner is screen printed in a limited run of original White Oak fabrics. Each denimhead can have a piece of American and denim history hanging on their wall. Their first batch is made in a run of 100 pieces and are numbered on the back.
