Brave Star X Cone Mills Selvage Denim Banner
By the end of 2017, the legendary American denim mill Cone Mills announced the closing of their White Oak plant. Read more about the closing here. After 112 years in business, they closed the oldest mill in America that made those unique selvage fabrics which were woven on authentic shuttle looms. Their announcement and closing is one of the saddest news within the denim industry since ages.
Homage To White Oak
Denim brand Brave Star pays homage to White Oak with their Cone Mills White Oak denim banner. This banner is screen printed in a limited run of original White Oak fabrics. Each denimhead can have a piece of American and denim history hanging on their wall. Their first batch is made in a run of 100 pieces and are numbered on the back.

The Brave Star X Cone Mills White Oak banners are 36 x 31 inches wide. The heritage Cone Mills Greensboro graphic design is hand screen-printed onto the denim fabric. The production run features various Cone Mills selvage denim, so different selvage ID line color. The non- selvage edges are chain-stitched on a rare US43200g. Both Brave Star as Cone Mills official labels are sewn on the bottom in the right corner. The banner has four brass eyelets, so you can hang it easily onto your wall.
