Bzen is a Hong Kong-based brand that is inspired by vintage denim, indigo, workwear, and military clothing. All their styles are made with a unique twist, this to do something different instead of making exactly one-on-one repro’s.
Based On An Original
The P44 Sahara Camouflage Jacket is inspired by an original WW2 USMC Combat Field Utility version from 1944. The original is made with a herringbone fabric, but the Bzen version is produced of 100% heavy canvas cotton.
Details Of The Jacket
On the chest is one single pocket with button closure. The buttons are having a rusty look, for a vintage look. On the inside is a stamp with ‘Do not glorify war’ as Bzen loves those old authentic military styles, but not war. On the bottom at the closure, they also added a woven label with ‘Make love not war’, this to emphasize it extra.
The Camouflage Pattern
The camouflage pattern is designed by Bzen, so not a regular standard fabric. It has a beautiful mix of warm Autumn colors, that makes the jacket extra special.
The jacket is afterward soaked in a veggie dye bath for an extra finish.
