The Japanese denim store Celluloid celebrates their 35 years anniversary next year in 2019. For this anniversary they teamed-up with Samurai jeans for a special collab jeans. You can now pre-order the jeans which will be available in March 2019.

Celluloid is in business since 1984 and they carry a fine selection of American and Japanese brands. Core of the collection are The Real McCoy’s, Fullcount, Brown’s Beach, Warehouse, Samurai Jeans, Wesco boots, Pherrow’s to name a few. They also stock the finest vintage clothing.

The Anniversary Jeans

The Celluloid X Samurai collaboration jeans is made of unevenness warp and weft yarn, it’s a 16oz fabric. The heavyweight fabric has a pink selvage. The fit of the jeans is slightly narrow straight. The sewing thread of the jeans is made of cotton. The different sewing yarns have two colours as yellow and tobacco. The backpockets are stitched with an one stitch sewing machine. On the backpockets they stitched a double seagull design which is done with yellow and black thread. This to create more depth in the design.

The jeans have golden celebration buttons at the closure. And the rivets are made of copper. The innerpockets are made of red and white herringbone fabric. This feature refers to WW2 pockets from jeans when brands were forced to used standard fabrics to save materials for the war. The inner back yoke is decorated with a Japanese pattern fabric. For the flasher they created a special Celluloid X Samurai Jeans collaboration version.

Each collab jeans is numbered one by one which starts from number 001. Every jeans comes with a special denim pouch which will have the same stamped number that refers to the jeans. The patch is made of geniune leather.
