Denham The Jeanmaker X Medicom Toy Collaboration
Denham the Jeanmaker made a special collab with Japanese brand Medicom Toy Corporation. The first iconic Be@rbrick by this company was launched on May 27th in 2001. This was a gift for the visitors of the World Character Convention 12 in Tokyo. Since then, the bear design has gone on to become a cultural icon, reimagined and redesigned by many artists around the globe. Now, after 18 years after the first release, Denham created their version.
The Denham Be@rbrick
The Denham x Be@rbrick is covered in an all-over design with the brand’s scissor logo. The scissor was picked for the brand as the founder and creative officer Jason Denham has an obsession with scissors. The all-over scissor print includes scissors with brass knuckles as handles, scissors with chainsaw teeth for blades and scissors with prop heads, all reflecting Denham’s motto to ‘Worship Tradition and Destroy Convention.’
The Medicom Toy collab is available in three sizes. The standard size (100 %) stands at seven centimeters tall, the medium size (400 %) at 28 centimeters and the large size (1000%) at an impressive 70 centimeters.
Denham X Be@rbrick Capsule Collection
Next to the Be@rbrick collaboration toy, they developed also a capsule collection. This collection includes exclusive items as sweatshirts, t-shirts, and limited-edition accessories as backpacks, home slippers, iPhone cases, tote bag, travel pouch, and so on. The accessories are made by Fabrick, a sister-company within the Medicom brand.
