The Second Denim Report
After the first successful launch of the denim report trend insights, Denim Dudes just released it’s follow-up for the Fall Winter 2022 season. This time the driving force behind Denim Dudes, Amy Leverton, worked together with graphic designer Nick Williams, known for his incredible denim book Denimbranded, on a trim edition.
The denim report trims is out now, so can be downloaded via the link in the article below.
The Content Of The Denim Report
The denim report combines Denim Dudes’ trend insights with the latest developments from the top denim mills around the world. It summarizes the latest denim trim, label, packaging, and branding trends from the world’s top trims and branding vendors. In 45 pages you will be up to date about what’s going on within the industry. These pages cover approximately 125 trims qualities (hang tags, patches, buttons, packaging, and accessories ) from 9 of the top branding vendors in the industry.
The denim report includes also detailed profile pages on each contributor, showcasing an edit of their seasonal highlights and contact details. Vendors include Timay & Tempo, Dorlet, Panama Trimmings, Nexgen, Apxpress, Ribbontex, Turtexetiquette, DeriDesen, and Close to Clothes.
Amy Leverton, Denim Dudes About The Denim Report
“2020 has significantly changed the resources and level of inspiration designers have at their disposal to shape and inform their collections,” said Leverton. “Trade shows, fashion weeks, showroom visits, and inspiration trips have all been canceled due to COVID. Plus, design teams have thinned – leading to a time deficit among designers with increased duties and reduced time for exploring offerings from mills. With The Denim Directory, we are able to use our specific skill set and industry access to create a report that fills in the gaps for designers in a way we never have before.”
Where To Download
The good thing about the denim report is that it’s open to all, which means that you pay for it what you can. This accessible idea was born as a lot of companies are (still) struggling these times due to the current COVID-19 situation worldwide. With this approach, they want to share information and inspiration for everyone within the industry.
