Honeycombs refers to the area at the back of the knee of a pair of worn-out jeans. This because it look similar like a real honeycomb from the honey bees. The indigo colour fades the more the pants are worn. For me personally one of my favourite parts of old denim. Most of the time it shows very nice different shades of blue.
