Denim Meets Streetwear
Lee Jeans launched their new collaboration project, this time with Californian streetwear brand The Hundreds. The outcome of this collab is a collection for women and men that is based on archival pieces of the more than 130 years old American denim brand. Together they bring some classic styles with a streetwear twist for Spring and Summer.
About The Hundreds
The Hundreds is an American brand that is founded by Bobby Kim (Bobby Hundreds) and Ben Shenassafar (Ben Hundreds) in 2003 in Los Angeles. They’re known of total look collections with garments as T-shirts, denim, wovens, fleece, headwear, and outerwear. In the past, they worked together on other exciting collaborations as Disney, Adidas, and Garfield. Currently, The Hundreds is stocked worldwide, with flagship locations in L.A.’s Fairfax District, San Francisco’s Union Square, and SoHo, New York, and retailers worldwide.
The Collaboration Collection
The Lee Jeans X The Hundreds collaboration collection brings comfortable workwear classics with a twist. Within the collection are Carpenters-inspired pants and worker jackets, both available in funky colors as yellow and light-colored stone-washed denim fabric. The authentic Lee Jeans logo brand sweats are also included, but this time it shows both brand names.
Also, the one-of-a-kind Storm Rider neck label of the lined denim jacket of Lee Jeans is transformed into a collab version. Even the popular Buddy Lee doll is taking its presence on a T-shirt. The design shows Buddy Lee dressed in sweats and hoodies, next to the original Cowboy-styled doll.
A New Market
With the new collaboration, Lee Jeans is taking their heritage to a new level by presenting themselves in a new market, and audience. As they were always rooted in the 1980s and 1990s in streetwear, street culture, and music, this collaboration brings a new consumer, a new awareness, and also a new perspective along with different elements that they haven’t talked about in a long time.
The Availability Of The Collection
The Lee Jeans X The Hundreds collection will be available on The Hundreds App and online shop, Lee.com, as well as select stores worldwide.
