FDMTL Tie Dye Shibori Coverall Indigo Jacket

As part of the new Spring Summer 2020 collection, FDMTL released this tie-dye Shibori jacket. The jacket is a signature model of the Japanese brand, as it’s coming back each season in their collection. This time they tie-dyed the jacket with the Shibori technique.

Traditional Japanese Technique

Shibori is a traditional Japanese manual resist dyeing technique, which produces many different patterns on fabric. There is an unlimited number of ways to create Shibori; however, most techniques have names, and these techniques have many varieties.

Worker Style Jacket

The FDMTL jacket is a classic worker style with one chest pocket, and two lower pockets. Each jacket is dyed by hand, so each jacket will have a different outcome. As it’s made with indigo, over time it will slowly change, and will only get better with wear. The jacket is made in Japan.
