ISKO is one of the leading denim mills in the industry. They are creating 250 million meters of fabric per year and their portfolio includes more than 25.000 products. A very progressive company with a lot of denim innovation. Two weeks ago ISKO organised an event together with Swedish Fashion Council called: ‘The Future of Denim’. At ‘The Future of Denim’ topics such as denim wash, stretch and future consumption were discussed with a focus on technical innovations. Today’s denim consumer demands information about garment purchased, and also, denim companies are increasingly taking more and more responsibility in achieving ‘Circular Economy’ and responsible products.
During the innovation day ISKO unveiled six articles from the ISKO EARTH FIT collection that received the prestigious Nordic Swan Ecolabel certificate recently. Next to that they had some denim speakers on the event: denim expert Adriano Goldschmied (Godfather of the denim industry), Mike Schragger (Founder of Sustainable Fashion Academy), Marco Lucietti (Global Marketing Director of SANKO/ISKO™ division), Kutay Saritosun and Ebru Ozkucuk Guler (ISKO™ Corporate Social Responsibility) and Anita Winsnes (Managing Director Nordic Swan Ecolabel).
