Graham Keegan is a textile designer from Los Angeles, California. He’s working exclusively with natural dyes. He learned how to work with these dyes by studying historical records and lots of hands-on experience. Nowadays he teaches others how to dye, and how to get the best results.
He also developed this Indigo & Shibori Natural Dye Kit, so you can do it yourself at home.

What You Need To Start
To start, you will need two five-gallon buckets, one for dyeing, and one for rinsing. A long mixing stick, and hot water. And, of course, this kit.
Tips & Tricks
To achieve the best results with this kit, Graham recommends using small pieces of natural fabric. Or lightweight natural fabric with an open weave structure. Another tip is to dye up to 5lbs of fabric or a dozen garments depending on coverage and shade. And the last trick is to prep your vat, then wait 24 hours for it to mature before dyeing.
