Repair And Don’t Replace

Sashikodenim’s motto is ‘repair and don’t replace’. And that is exactly what Pey, the master behind Sashikodenim, is doing with these keyfobs. He used old scraps from jeans, but also workwear and army styles in his latest product.

All Ones Of A Kind

You can pick your favorite keyfob, as they’re all different, and you can choose from light-colored denim fabrics to darker. But, also camouflage prints are used in these ones of a kind.

Sashiko Stitching Technique

Each keyfob is decorated with some hand-stitches, Sashiko stitches, to make them even more special. This authentic technique comes originally from Japan where they used it to decorate or repair their clothes, and blankets. Sashiko is a time-consuming technique as it’s done by hand, stitch for stitch. Sashiko means little stab.

Black Elements

The Sashikodenim keyfobs are made from a black hook and black keyring. Ready to use each day, and a perfect example of upcycling. Remember, ‘repair and don’t replace’.
