Meet High Grade U.S. Standard
Andrew Phelps re-create obscure designs and fabrics from the rich American clothing history with his brand High Grade U.S. Standard. His goal is always very high as he don’t want to use standard buttons and snaps, but they are all custom cast. The majority of the fabrics used are milled exclusively from scratch for High Grade U.S. Standard. Many items are produced strictly in very limited edition runs. Current production is masterfully executed by Ooe Yofuketen of Ichinomiya, Japan. In most cases, the same model of antique U.S. made machines, from the same time period as the original garment are utilized in construction. Take a look at the High Grade U.S. Standard lookbook and explore the authentic designs.
