1970s Inspired
The new Fall-Winter ’20 collection from Lee 101 is inspired by the 1970s. The Lee 101 collection is the premium line of the American denim brand. Premium floats through the collection with special Japanese selvedge fabrics, unwashed rigid denim, heavy chambray’s, canvas, and sweat qualities. All from top-notch quality.
Classics Of The Brand
Of course, within the line are classics of the brand included as the Storm Rider jacket, the legendary denim jacket with the Alaska lining. But, also the Loco jacket is back. This time in heavy Japanese canvas and with features as a corduroy collar, Alaska lining in the jacket, and in the pockets which gives it warmth and a soft handle. It’s topped off with their Lee 101 buttons. You can even wear it with the matching Carpenter pants, so also made in a tobacco color.
New Fit 101T
Another highlight in the collection is the new premium fit, the 101T. The T stands for Tapered, so expect a jeans style that has a relaxed tapered fit with a roomy top block. It’s slightly looser than the 101Z that tapers down to a narrow leg opening, like the 101 Rider. The Rider is also developed with a 13oz Japanese slub left-hand non-stretch selvage fabric. Of course, it’s rigid.
Overshirts
They also developed two overshirts. Both are made of a beautiful and hardy wool mix, which feels soft, yet warm and cozy to wear. It’s available in navy and a lumberjacket check version.
21oz Heavy-Weight Champion
For the true denim heads, they developed another super heavy-weight champion. They used their 101Z (Zipper) jeans for this season’ special. This time in a 21oz unwashed denim fabric. It’s made using American yarn on Japanese shuttle looms with a visible weave. They are finished with brass branded buttons, rivets, and a leather back patch.
