  • It’s @hawksmilldenimco time as I’m wearing their new zip denim shirt, which is made of lighter and comfortable chambray fabric from the Italian @berto_industria_tessile denim mill. The shirt is beautifully made in Portugal and features special details such as the chest pockets, side seam pockets and natural Corozo buttons.

Underneath I’m wearing their classic brushed loopback heavyweight and warm grey sweatshirt. It’s made from a 400 gr organic cotton fabric, and proudly made in Portugal too. 💪
  • From the Archives: 1990s pair of @diesel jeans, branded as ‘Max Grade’. This pair was produced after Diesel had to switch their ‘Old Glory’ name, which was used for their premium denim collection in the early nineties. 

This pair was the follow-up on the ‘Old Glory’ - ‘Nomad’ jeans fit style and is called ‘Keetar’. This regular five pocket jeans style became later one of the cornerstones within Diesel’s core jeans collections for many years. 

This particular ‘Max Grade’ pair features v-stitching on the back of the top button, hidden rivets at the back pockets, branded buttons and rivets, special arcuates on the back pockets, and a branded leather patch. And not to forget, the orange selvedge ID fabric. This pair is produced in Italy. 👌

  • In the 12th episode of @levis’ series ‘From the Archives‘, historian of the brand, @panektracey, shares the story of the S.S. Central America ship. This ship sank off the coast of North Carolina in 1857 carrying 30,000 pounds (13,600 kg) of gold. In December 2022, artifacts recovered from this ship from Central America went on auction.

In this new episode, Tracey shows behind-the-scenes at the auction to learn the history of the ‘Ship of Gold’ and whether a pair of button-fly pants that sold for $114,000, were early Levi’s jeans. You will also see what Tracey bought for Levi’s archive that came out and from the ship too, dating to the legendary ‘Gold Rush‘ period. 👌
