Indigowares is a brand founded by Lisa Reddings. An active 45-year old textile designer and creative small business owner from the UK. She has a lot of experience after working for almost 20 years in the fashion industry. After she graduated from Brighton University, she moved to New York to work as a textile agent. After 9/11 in New York, she decided to be more close to her friends and family and moved back to the UK.
Lisa started Indiowares as a way of working from home and being close to her two young kids. With Indigowares she designs and curates the range of hand-dyed artisan accessories made for today’s mad world. She aims to create useful, durable, and beautiful timeless pieces like clothing, bags, cushions, and scarves.
Special Made Totebags
In the Indigowares collection are some beautiful tote bags. Each tote bag is made by hand for an authentic look. One of the tote bags is a large jute version that has been dip-dyed in natural indigo. There’s also a version made with the Shibori technique. Another one is an indigo blue tote bag with real leather handles and zipper, and there’s also large denim on denim tote included, made from recycled denim.
