Levi’s Vintage Clothing Presents 1947 Falling Rain Jeans
Levi’s Vintage Clothing released for this Fall Winter 2019 their new collection which is a tribute to the early 1960s folies of Greenwich Village. One of the jeans highlights is the 1947 501 WorldWar II era Falling Rain jeans. This pair reflects the changing times, with updates like a slimmer fit and removal of the cinch and suspender buttons.
Redline Selvedge From Japan
The fit of the jeans is regular with straight legs and a mid rise. For the fabric they used a 12oz redline selvedge denim from the Japanese Kaihara mill. The jeans has a beaten-up look as it has several repairs, patches for a true vintage look. Even the legs are slightly twisted, something typical for vintage Levi’s jeans.
The Levi’s Vintage Clothing Falling Rain jeans has a classic button fly, belt loops and double needle arcuate stitching. It’s produced in Europe.
