Meet the Brand: Kerbside & Co

Kerbside & Co is a brand that brings together the design aesthetics of the classic blue collar workwear with modern sensibility. And which each design, Kerbside & Co, makes small volume utilitarian wear that serves both genders as the brand does not disciminate style and preferences. No drama, all function and plenty of form.

Below three Kerbside & Co key styles are highlighted.

Kerbside & Co X Kennedy Jeans

The first higlighted Kerbside & Co jeans is the Kennedy. The Kennedy jeans is a slim straight fit which has a mid rise front with a relaxed top block. The fit has a subtle tapering from the knee to hem. The jeans is made from a redline 13.5oz selvedge denim fabric White Oak, Cone Mills from the U.S.A (The White Oak – Cone Denim plant will close their doors within 2 weeks, read all about it here.)

The fabric is sanforized. The buttons and rivets are made from Japanese YKK. The inner pockets are made from heather brown chambray. The hems are chainstitched using the classic Union Special 32000G. The jeans has a canvas patch with the Kerbside & Co branding.

The second highlighted Kerbside & Co item is a classic painters’ pants. The model is called The Pollock. The pants is a slim fit silhouette with a mid rise front. For The Pollock pants they used a 9oz brown canvas. The pants is triple stitched which refers to authentic workwear styles. The backpockets are lined with canvas for extra durability. The pants has a subtle leather patch on the right back pocket. For reinforcement they reinforced tigh and knee front panel. For the fly they used classic buttons and the sizing is silkscreened on the inner waist band.

Kerbside & Co X Lot 81-01 Jeans

The third Kerbside & Co jeans is called Lot 81-01. The jeans is constructed from 13oz redline selvedge denim from the Japanese Kurabo mill. The fit is a slim fit cut which tapers down from the knee onwards. The button fly contains laurel leaf buttons. The jeans is made in Okayama, Japan, to reach the highest quality. The jeans have gone through a so called one wash to wring out the stiffness and the result is a very comfortable to the touch denim, ready to wear on your daily chores.
