Military Style Denim Coat
Japanese denim brand Momotaro developed a military-style denim coat. The jacket is made with the brand’s signature painted going to battle stripes on the sleeve. With wear, these stripes will fade, together with the fabric itself.
The Special Features
The Momotaro jacket is a slim fitted style with a hoodie. It’s made with a 100% cotton indigo fabric of 10 ounces. The fabric is washed once, so it will not ‘bleed’ that much anymore. The jacket features slanted handwarmer pockets, an adjustable hood, big white buttons, and triple white stitch workwear details.
The jacket has a longer length and can be worn perfectly with a sweater or shirt. Over time the clean design of the jacket will transform into a more characteristic jacket as it will fade to your lifestyle, just as your pair of jeans.
Made In Japan
The jacket is made in Japan on the home ground where the brand was founded in 2006. They started at Kojima, Okayama, which is known as the birthplace of Japanese domestic jeans. With the brand, they keep artisan inherit the tradition of the great technique as they believe jeans are not only fashion items, but also the tool for creating a lifestyle.
