How They Started In 2011

Since 2011 the Mosevic brand is recycling old pairs of jeans into high-end sunglasses. It all started when they played around with the material and made their first prototypes. Soon, after hundreds of prototypes later they found the perfect mix, and work method to create these special glasses. All the glasses are made by hand in their workshop in Cornwall, England.

The Production Video

To make Mosevic sunglasses it all starts by making a strong composite material, solid denim and Micarta, by cutting up discarded jeans and other waste denim and then infusing it with a strong bio-based resin. You can see the total production stages, from start to finish, of the two-week-long process in their video.

5 Different Styles

There’re five different styles available at the brand’s webshop. You can pick your favorite model, in blue or black denim. They’re all made with 2 year manufacturing warranty. The sunglasses are water resistant, and easy to keep clean. All of them features polarized high-standard Zeiss lenses.
