Today I received my copy from Rin Tanaka’s latest My Freedamn edition. It’s number 10 and the final one from these ubercool books. This edition is the biggest in the My Freedamn! series: 1013 rare vintage items in 353 pages, featuring 1980s new wave fashions. Besides the regular version Rin made a limited edition with only 500 copies. This book has a really nice cover made from waved plywood. It looks like the famous Eames LCW chair by Herman Miller from 1946. For the material, the “bird’s-eye maple,” which is famous for being very premium wood, was selected. The book is made in Japan. Two color variations are available:
1. Aniline Red, which vintage Eames collectors love!
2. Blonde, in which the beautiful birdseye pattern looks much nicer.
Only 100 copies are available in US and European markets. (400 were already pre-booked by Japanese stores.) Get your hands on a copy before it’s too late to complete this super collection! Thanks always Rin!! Have a look a this beauty!
