Ecru Western Shirt
Blaumann Jeanshosen developed another made in Germany style in their collection. This time they produced an ecru Western-inspired shirt with a modern fit.
Unbleached Ecru Fabric
The shirt is made of an unbleached ecru fabric. If you look closely at the fabric you can see parts of the cotton plant as little brown spots in the fabric due to lack of peroxide bleach. This gives the fabric an extra special look and feel. It weighs 280gr per square meter.
Woven In Germany
And it’s woven by German company Hecking Söhne. They’re a textile company in Stadtlohn, which operates a spinning mill, warping facility, sizing facility, weaving mill as well as a cloth inspection. Their laboratory ensures that their customers obtain yarns and fabrics of consistent top quality.
The company has a very long history as they were already mentioned as linen weavers who were also active as traders and entrepreneurs in the Stadtlohn town chronicle, compiled by Friedrich Dorweiler in 1619. So, this means they go back for 400 years already!
White Star Label
To show that this Blaumann Jeanshosen shirt is fully made in Germany it has the woven white star label on the flap of the chest pocket. This means that the fabric is woven in Germany, but also cut and sewn in the home country of the brand. So, 100% Germany made!
