B.L.U.E.C.H.A.I.N 4.0

The theme of the upcoming Bluezone edition is B.L.U.E.C.H.A.I.N 4.0. This refers to the fact that the future of denim lies on solutions. The entire blockchain, or rather bluechain, will become transparent and lead blue creativity into a future that probably goes beyond heritage and authenticity.

As always the trade show has next to the best denim mills a lot of inspiration too. And of course successful professionals. In case you have missed the interviews which I did together with Thomas Stege Bojer, Denimhunters, during the last edition with the most outstanding people within the denim industry, go to this link here to watch the entire video series.

Catalyzer & Allstar Mills

In hall no. 6 you will find Catalyzer. This hall is all about Denim Heritage & Blue Prints. You will find future-oriented developments and heritage denim from selected denim brands with a focus on sustainability, history, and heritage.

In hall no. 7 the Allstar Mills will be present. In this hall, the mills will showcase their international premium denim portfolio and their services.

Inspiration At Bluezone

Next to the latest denim fabric collections there will be more inspiration highlights at the show. One of them is the ‘Futuristic Customization Gallery’, a joint project by denim specialists MYR from Italy and Fimatex, as well as the presentation of the Capsule Collection developed by PG Denim in cooperation with designer Jonathan Christopher, the Denim Award winner 2018. Artist Anna Weber, see her work here, will present her very personal ‘Denim Art Exhibition‘.

The new partnership with New Heritage Festival will be present with the New Heritage living room staged at the Reception Lodge of the Bluezone outdoor premises. In the video below the founder of New Heritage Festival, Moritz Fuchs, shares his story;

In Hall no. 7 is also the Denim Dock. Here you can find seminars, workshops, and talks on the latest developments in the denim industry, about consumer needs, Blockchain, sustainability, and techno denim.

The legendary Ruedi Karrer a.k.a. Swiss Jeansfreak teamed-up with Thomas from Denimhunters for a denim expo. They will showcasing a few select garments from his vast collection of heavily faded jeans at Bluezone. The expo will highlight eight original details and characteristics of denim and jeans that have inspired innovation. So it will links denim heritage with it’s future.
