New Future Denim Developments by Orta Anadolu

One of the leading denim manufacturers, Orta Anadolu from Turkey joined again the Munich Fabic Start Show. Orta Anadolu launched their latest denim developments through three different booths this time. The one in Bluezone was dedicated to Orta’s Spring Summer ’19 collection and the other two were in the Keyhouse part of show. One of the booths in the Keyhouse showed Orta’s Exoart concept while the other booth was a Dark Room. In the Dark Room you could see the Denim Tech Line, a timeline video installation of all the functional concepts developed by Orta during the years.

All the three booths were set-up to show people the next generation of denim by Orta. While Exoart focussed on a brand new technology where eco process meets artisan effects, Orta’s Denim Tech Line featured an experience that will take the visitors to a journey through time, from past to the future. A denim 4.0 experience.

Denim Tech Line by Orta Anadolu

Today I want to highlight the new denim developments by Orta’s Denim Tech Line. The Denim Tech Line shows how innovation and denim tech has always been at high importance to Orta and will continue to be so. The Denim Tech Line contains several concepts that fit the needs of people perfectly.

Some of the different concepts from the Denim Tech Line by Orta Anadolu are;

  • Thermoregulation Coolmax all season fabric.

An insulation providing fabric technology by Invista. This fabric is designed to keep you comfortable and dry through changing conditions, from a short hike to a long race. It keeps you cool and dry on hot days.

  • Stain Repellent ECO – Stay White PFC Free.

The eco-friendly way to repel water from fabric. Orta’s exclusive finish that protects white jeans from liquid stains. It does not contain any fluorocarbons (PFC) and hence is gentle to the human body and to the earth. The liquids that aren’t absorbed into the fabric can be simply brushed off.

  • Coldblack – Coldblack.

Coldblack contains both sun reflector and UV protector in one special finishing technology. With the help of these two properties, better heat management and protection form harmful UV rays is ensured. The fabric also reduces heat build-up and provides reliable protection from UV rays, especially on darker colored fabrics.

  • Water Repellent – Ecorepel.

Ecorepel is a Schoeller treatment which protects textiles from water. Ecorepel can effectively keep the surface of a garment dry and clean. Unlike most other water repelling treatments, it contains no Perfluorocarbons.

  • Stain RepellentTeflon.

Teflon protect fabrics from spills and stains, both dry and water or oil based. The finish ensures fabrics to look newer for longer periods. Teflon treated fabrics can be washed at lower temperatures and can dry faster.

  • Thermoregulation Quickdry.

Quickdry special finish combines two separate functions into one fabric. Providing inside out dryness, Quickdry finished fabric absorbs perspiration and swiftly moves it away, is water and dirt repellent.

  • Indisense Seasmooth

A seaweed extract from Iceland, infused into lyocell revitalizing and smoothing your skin. The skin-caring properties of the seaweed activates cell regeneration helping to re-mineralize the skin while it protect against negative environmental properties since it is rich in antioxidants.

  • Indisense – Breeze.

Breeze is hyper-functional denim with permenant effects, built especially to balance the skin’s temperature. Breeze is ultra soft and smooth touch to skin, providing comfort-wear. Proven to lower body temperature, keeping you comfortable and promoting well-being.

  • Bioware – Bioware.

Bioware denim, rich in volcanic ash, (known as “mother nature’s skin purifier”), contains a sustainable natural absorber of odors that neutralizes bad bacteria to keep your skin’s flora (microbiome) healthy and happy.
