Nigel Cabourn Cameraman Navy Check Jacket
One of the cornerstones of the Nigel Cabourn collections is their Cameraman jacket. Their icon has a new look with the addition of a clever waterproof ‘skirt’. You can zip the waterproof ‘skirt’ away when it’s not needed. The inspiration for this functional detail is taken from a vintage fishing vest with the waterproof extension. It’s designed to keep the wearer dry when sitting down, so a very functional and practical addition to the existing jacket.
Made In England
The jacket is made in England by Mackintosh with the highest standards. This version features rubberized double bonded Fothergill cotton on the upper part of the jacket and specially developed tartan Harris Tweed on the lower. The usual five pockets set up features plus snap pocket access to the internal nylon pocket bag.
Details Of The Jacket
For the buttons, they used horn buttons to fasten the front and cuffs. The cords are waxed with hand-tied hangman knot and Union Knopf leather ‘pig’s nose’ lock. The used fabrics of the Cameraman jacket is a mix of cotton, Harris Tweed wool and nylon.
