Australia’s Leading Denim Manufacturer
Nobody Denim is Australia’s leading denim manufacturer which started in 1999. It’s a family-run business that started as a laundry in the backstreet of Melbourne. Nowadays they can produce between 1,000 and 1,500 pairs of women’s jeans each day with a full capacity. Each pair goes through 60 to 70 different hands before it’s ready for shipment.
As part of the first edition of Kingpins 24 Australia last week, Nobody Denim released their almost 15 minutes documentary. This film shares the entire story of the denim brand. Co-founder and chairman, John Condilis, takes you by the hand in the film to share his family’s full story, and also how they work each day to produce their denim collection for women. You will get an insight in their own denim factory, laundry, and so on. An inspiration tour that shows their love affair with denim.
In The Words Of Nobody Denim
”We began by designing our own unique tools and techniques for hand customisation and we have spent the decades since discovering everything there is to know about denim. You could say that we know denim. We are denim! It’s this kind of focus that gives us our drive and constantly pushes us to succeed. To this day, each of our products are individually hand customised to achieve a natural and proportioned placement and we work closely with premium global denim mills to source the very best fabrics. Melbourne however is our heart and soul. Our designs, ethos, outlook and aesthetic are deeply entrenched in our birth city and we take pride in representing Melbourne on a world stage.”
