Nudie Jeans Fearless Freddie KD-8 Jeans
Nudie jeans made a very special edition jeans, Fearless Freddie. The jeans is made with a reproduction of the historical KD-8 fabric from Japan.
The KD-8 Fabric Story
Back in 1972 Kurabo developed the first ever made Japanese denim fabric. After seven try-outs the Kurabo Denim 8, also known as KD-8, fabric was a fact. This was the kick-off of a new era within the denim industry as it’s the first ever domestic made denim fabric in Japan.
Nudie jeans used a careful reproduction of the Kurabo Denim 8 fabric for this special edition. The fabric is a dry 14oz rigid version.
The Fearless Freddie KD-8 has a beautiful deep dark indigo denim whom was born from an Italian loom. It has slightly irregular undyed weft yarns crossed the indigo dyed warp yarns. Due to the irregularity of the weft the denim has subtle crosshatch structure which will become more evident with wear. The jeans features a two-tone back pocket embroidery and the new vegan back patch made from paper.
Details Of The Jeans
The jeans is made of organic cotton. It has brown and Tobacco threads on all seams. The trims are made of copper. For the closure they used buttons. The jeans has a regular tapered fit with a slim leg opening.
