Meet Tuff Tony
Nudie Jeans released their new family member, the Tuff Tony. A classic style that comes in three different versions; clear blue wash, redcast dry denim, and dry selvedge denim. The dry Snake Eyes selvedge will be shown in this article.
The Tuff Tony Fit
The Tuff Tony is a roomy straight fit of jeans with a high-waist and button fly. It provides room over the seat down the entire leg. A slight taper from the knee down gives this fit a straight silhouette that doesn’t flare, making it bold yet refined.
The Dry Selvedge Fabric
The dry (unwashed) 13oz redline selvedge fabric, called Snake Eyes, of this pair of Tuff Tony’s, is manufactured in the legendary denim-town of Kojima, Okayama. It is made of organic cotton in the very birthplace of Japanese denim. It is woven on old authentic shuttle looms with weft yarns of irregular thickness, to achieve an original vintage look when worn in.
The Details Of Tuff Tony Dry Selvedge
The new Tuff Tony Snake Eyes selvage comes with Nudie Jeans signature orange thread and antique finish silver trims. It has a button fly, Jacron patch, and there’s even a selvedge detail on the coin pocket. The jeans is produced in Italy.
