O’Neill X ISKO Launched World’s First Denim Boardshort
The Californian surfbrand O’Neill teamed-up with denim manufacturer ISKO for the first denim boardshort. The denim boardshort is part of their Spring Summer 2018 collection.
The boardshort is revolutionar as it’s the worlds first denim boardshort. With the professional expertise of ISKO they developed an unique item to experience the beachlife. The result of this partnership brings streetstyle to the beach.
The O’Neill X ISKO denim boardshort is made with fast-drying, lightweight, 4-way stretch and patented ISKO Blue Skin denim fabric. The boardshort will dry very quick when you will come out of the water, so you can jump immediately on your bike for a ride.
The denim boardshort features side and back pockets. The design of the denim boardshort has a relaxed silhouette and lace-up waistband. The short’s denim is also 50% lighter than traditional jeans fabric and is water repellent thanks to the O’Neill Hyperdry treatment applied to the material in production. The treated fabric remains soft and breathable both in and out of the water.
The brand was founded in 1952 by Jack O’Neill. Jack is credited to have invented the wetsuit. The O’Neill company logo symbolizes a breaking surf wave.
