The 6th Italian Made Genderless Collection

PeppinoPeppino developed their 6th collection for Fall Winter 2022. The brand is evolving and is now almost being entirely genderless. It’s always faithful to the DNA of the brand which wants to promote a new way of denim interpretation with timeless silhouettes inspired by vintage pieces with a contemporary and modern twist.

The collection is created in cooperation with pattern specialist and designer Alessio Berto from Italy, and is now on display at the Pitti trade show in Florence, Italy.

Highlights Of The New Collection

The PeppinoPeppino collection is always focussing on denim fabrics, but for this season they are also introducing premium Italian corduroy and nylon in a selection of their favorite styles. Next to that, the brand is and will always be a responsible approach, so expect again eco-washes and vegan branding. They’re producing small production lots in Italy and using Italian materials, minimizing the carbon footprint.

In the new collection, they are expanding their Type 18 offer, originally made singular relaxed fit, now available in a sexier slim fit, as well as an exaggerated oversize option. While opposite sides of the spectrum, these two new additions bring together the curious uniqueness of PeppinoPeppino’s aesthetic and individual style.

In the new Fall Winter 2022 look book, they celebrate their collaboration with their friends like Indigo People and Bum Society. Indigo People are known for their beautifully indigo-dyed woven scarves, while Bum Society produces crafted artisan brogues and boots.

The Origin Of The PeppinoPeppino Brand Name

The founder of the PeppinoPeppino brand, Simona Testucci (more about her here), about the origin of her brand name;

Walking in Berlin one day in a residential area I stumbled upon a pack of kids dressed in their adorable workwear denim outfits: overalls, jeans, and jackets. They were climbing fences and trees, driven solely by their curiosity to find the next adventure.
I realized, observing them, the beauty and the bravery of childhood and how much adults need to embody a little more of that. And, with that in mind, I thought to create a brand that is brave, audacious, and also a bit curious in honor of those kids that are always seeking out the next adventure.

PeppinoPeppino is about the exploration, the never-ending adventure that life should be perceived as. It is about the ability to always see the opportunity and the excitement that every day could bring. PeppinoPeppino is the brand that you should wear walking that path.
