The 1937 Roamer Shirt Short Sleeve Bamboo
Pike Brothers developed a lightweight Summer version with the 1937 Roamer Shirt short-sleeved bamboo. The classic 1930s cut of the short-sleeved shirt is comfortable and makes it an ideal companion for all the Summer adventures to come. The light-weight yellow 100% viscose fabric is developed with an original 1950’s print.
On the chest of the shirt is one pocket, and the buttons are made with genuine coconut. Produced in Portugal to reach the high-quality standard of the brand.
The 1944 Monkey Pant In Olive
The 1944 Monkey Pant in olive by Pike Brothers is the famous military style. Originally, this pants were introduced at the beginning of the 1940s for the U.S. Armed Forces. It was part of a new concept by the U.S.M.C. The aim was to provide soldiers with as much material as possible, hence the large and numerous pockets.
The actual name of the trousers was P44 Trousers, but due to the somewhat unusual pocket arrangements, they quickly acquired the nickname ‘Monkey Pant’ among troops. This nickname has persisted to this day, and over the years, the Monkey Pant has evolved into a style icon. Since originals are very hard to find, Pike Brothers have brought back this iconic pants.
The 1944 Monkey Pant is crafted exactly like the original. The fabric is the typical light-weight olive herringbone. A 100% cotton fabric that is pre-washed. The pants itself has a regular fit with three large cargo pockets and logo buttons. It’s produced in Turkey, like many styles of the Pike Brothers brand.
