Pras Indigo Coloured Sneakers From Japan

The Pras footwear brand from Japan is designed and founded by Tanushi Tomoki in 2015. The brand manufactures sneakers in the same way the authentic US Naval footwear were produced during the war. They were produced with vulcanized soles which are giving extra traction when wearing on slippery and wet ship decks.

Nowadays, only two factories in Japan are able to produce this kind of sneakers with vulcanized soles. In the USA, all these factories are closed during the years, which makes these Pras sneakers extra special.

Within the collection, there’re several different colors and styles available. This model, Shellcap Low, is also available in several versions, but during the Selvedge Run trade show in Berlin, this special indigo version was shown. The sneaker is dyed in indigo, and will also be available with paint splatters. With wear, the indigo will fade, just like a pair of blue jeans. They have black laces, like the soles. The sneakers are made in Japan for the highest quality.
