A New Denim Brand
Dutch Denim Project by Edwin van Zoeren is launching tomorrow, 6th of March, his first pairs of jeans. This is a follow-up on his denim hemming and repair services with Dutch Denim Repair. He developed two pairs of jeans fits, with one rigid (unwashed) selvedge fabric.
Two Fits One Selvedge Fabric
The two denim fits of the Dutch Denim Project are a Slim Tapered and a Relaxed Tapered. Both fits are available in the same selvedge dry fabric, a 14oz. redline indigo slub from the Kuroki Mill in Japan. The fits are modern interpretations of today’s most popular demand. The Slim Tapered is the slimmest style, is has a mid-rise, and has tapered legs. The Relaxed Tapered is a more relaxed fit with more room in the top block without being too bulky and offers a strong taper.
The First Batch
Features Of The Jeans
The jeans feature specially developed and branded buttons and rivets. The rivets are reinforced with leather for extra strength. The jeans are stitched with Tobacco colored thread, and blue thread for details on the coin pocket, belt loops, and back pockets for example.
Extra special detail on the jeans is the selvedge key hanger loop on the left side. You can easily loop your key hanger on it so you can store your keys safely.
Each pair will be hand-finished in the workshop of the Dutch Denim Project in The Netherlands. In the atelier, they will add the labels, leather patch, rivets, and buttons. If needed, you can also chain stitch the hemming on the exact length.
Specials With Each Jeans
Each pair of jeans will be delivered with a branded copper key hanger. The copper is made from the same 100% recycled copper as the buttons and rivets. A perfect match, and companion for your jeans. On top of this, you can also choose which leather patch color you want to add to your jeans to make them extra special. You can choose between a natural, cognac, or blue version.
The Dutch Denim Project jeans are designed in The Netherlands, and produced in Portugal, and are now ready for pre-orders.
