A New Denim Days – The Market Edition
Two weeks ago there was another edition of ‘The Market Edition‘ by Denim Days. After two very successful editions last year, it was now time to organize the third edition at the vibrating De Hallen location in the heart of Amsterdam. People all over the world joined the event again and came together to share their love and passion for all things denim. The denim community showed again the strong connection between denim and friendships.
What Was Happening At Denim Days
The market is always a very popular element of Denim Days since day one. The participants were again a great mix of existing and established brands, but there were also a few newborn denim initiatives taking part. Next to that, the future denim heroes were represented by House of Denim, so it was an edition where authenticity was mixed with modern and creative denim approaches.
As part of each edition, you could educate and get inspired too in between shopping at your favorite denim brands. This time you could join a Sashiko masterclass, be part of the Indigo Invitational judging, and listen to how Ruedi Karrer aka Swiss Jeans Freak collects already for 50 years the heaviest worn-out pairs of jeans and everything about the upcoming denim trends. On top of that, you could meet again like-minded denim heads while having a freshly made coffee or drinking a cold beer by Amsterdam’s finest beer brand Brouwerij ‘t IJ.
