Recycled Selvedge Stone Blue
Naked & Famous released another outstanding pair of jeans. This time they developed a pair that is made with left-over denim material from the production facility. The outcome is the Recycled Selvedge Stone Blue jeans.
The Production Of The Fabric
The new denim style is made of left-over denim material from the fabric cutting stage in production. Normally these scraps are typically unused wastage. Instead of being discarded these scraps are shredded and combined with undyed cotton, and spun into new yarn. The next step is that these yarns were woven together on authentic Japanese shuttle looms to create the unique fabric of the Recycled Selvedge jeans by Naked & Famous.
Pink Selvedge Fabric
The recycled fabric has a stonewash look color, but as it’s made from recycled denim it shows subtle blue variations. It’s a classic weight 12.5oz selvedge fabric. Also, the selvedge pink ID looks like the typical vintage 1980s pairs of jeans.
The Recycled Leather Patch
To make the jeans complete they also made a leather patch from recycled scraps. The leather is fused into a new patch to match perfectly to the denim fabric.
Details And Availability
The jeans is cut and sewn in Canada with contrast stitching. It features silver metallic buttons and rivets. The Recycled Selvedge is available in several different fits and is now available via selected retails of Naked & Famous worldwide.
Promo Video
To promote the new pair of jeans they created a video where they share all the ins and outs.
