The History Behind The Williston Style
Red Wing’s legacy of dress footwear stretches back nearly a century. The Williston style is born out of archival inspiration from formal boots that were first produced in Red Wing in the 1920’s and ’30’s. The Gro-Cord outsole that the 6-inch Williston is built on has a rich history of it’s own, adding industry leading durability to dress boots first appearing on Red Wing dress boots in the 1920’s.
