The Super Sole Boots
Red Wing Shoes developed the 8133 Moc Toe boots originally in the 1970s. These boots feature the patented Super Sole method as in the United States there was a change to the manufacturing process. Nowadays these boots are highly collectible as they were only available in Japan. Now, a pre-release of a limited batch at European Red Wing Shoes stores is now available. This Fall and Winter, they will be also available in the United States as well.
The Super Sole Technology
The Super Sole boots are made with the Urethane Sole Technology. This innovative technology is later called the Super Sole. This new technology blows urethane directly to the shoes. The result is superior durability and improved foot cushioning and flexibility and they’re also oil resistant. Soon after its release, the Super Sole became an industry-leading work boot.
Back in the day, most work boot manufacturers in the US were transitioning to cement manufacturing (bonding and attaching the sole to the shoe body). Red Wing Shoes created the Super Sole manufacturing method to produce a highly durable boot. The Super Soles have been used since then in a variety of work boots of the American footwear brand.
