Italian Denim Brand Meets Sebago

Roy Roger’s latest partnership was launched during last year’s Pitti Immagine Uomo trade show in June. This special collaboration project is set-up with the footwear brand Sebago. The Italian denim brand developed a premium collection of the cornerstones of Sebago.

The Sebago Brand

Sebago is founded in 1946, by three New England natives and friends: Daniel J. Wellehan Sr., William Beaudoin, and Joseph Cordeau.

Their first shoe released was a hand-sewn penny loafer. This style is inspired by the popular Indian moccasin and featured the company’s patented welt construction. It was a big success since day one.

About The Collaboration

There’s a strong link between leather and denim. This is also the base of the collaboration between both brands as it’s a perfect combination. Within the collab collection, there are two different models, the Portland, and the Dan.

The Portland style is inspired by the typical nautical footwear, this Docksides design expresses all of the brands’ affection toward action. This item comes in two versions, with a total denim variant and a leather and denim one.

The Dan style is a penny loafer shoe in full-grain patent leather, made with traditional artisanal techniques. These shoes feature an insert in selvage denim within the penny keeper. The 4-season loafers, with upper in unlined leather and sole in treated natural leather for improved flexibility, are available in black color.

Collaboration Bag

Next to the footwear styles, they also launched a sturdy heavy cotton bag with both logo’s to celebrate their collaboration. The bag is made of ecru and denim blue cotton.

Available Now

The Roy Roger’s X Sebago collab is now available at the Roy Roger’s stores, and via their online shop. It’s giving life to shoe models that combine jean and leather, fully entailing the dynamic spirit and the idea of freedom uniting the two brands.
