Made In Sweden
Sarva is a family-owned denim brand based in Sweden, that is producing small batches locally with the biggest consideration for the design and materials. Their denim jacket is unisex, so can be worn for women and men.
The Origin Of The Brand Name
The Sarva brand name comes from the Sámi people. They are the relatives of the founders of the brand. Their community understands the world from a different perspective and adapt and belongs with nature. It’s tough and their community and their clothing are resilient. Therefore they create high-quality products that last, products that stand the test of time and be passed on within families, generations, genders, and age groups, with a story and tale and perhaps, over time, the odd repair.
Sustainable Mission Of Sarva
One of our most important missions of Sarva is to make timeless and durable high-quality garments that will last for years to come. So if you don’t use your Sarva anymore, don’t throw them away, but send them back to them so they can find a new owner for it. They’ll repair them if needed and then re-sell them on their website. When you return an item you will get a store credit in return and help them to give the products a second or third life and to keep their product alive forever.
The Denim Jacket Details
The Sarva denim jacket is made with one chest pocket with unique stitching and the Sámi colors are stitched next to the pocket, front pleats with Swedish flag bartacks, a hanging loop and one inner pocket made in a printed 100% natural indigo fabric. The same fabric is used for the inside of the back yoke. The collar is rounded and there’s double stitching on the waistband and arm cuffs.
For the fabric, they picked a rigid broken twill quality, which is custom developed with a mill outside of Ancona, Italy. The fabric is made of organic cotton. The jacket features a natural leather tanned reindeer patch on the back, made by Kero in Sattajärvi, Swedish Lappland.
